In a web3 space overrun with bad projects, ads, paid-for celebrity endorsements, copycats and rug pulls, we understand now more than ever that trust is essential for the success of Cap3 Collective. Our team is committed to earning not only that trust, but the respect and dedication of our community.

With that in mind, we’re announcing the formation of the Cap3 Advisory Board — a committee of Web3 experts, experienced investors, and successful entrepreneurs that will join the Cap3 community as Genesis Pass holders to provide their insights and an additional layer of quality control to pick winning ideas.

In the coming months, we’ll be extending invitations to individuals with expertise in the following areas:

• Blockchain development
• DAO community management
• Technology-focused venture capital investing
• Digital art and content creation
• Web3 project operations

What Will the Advisory Board Do?

The Advisory Board will have 8-12 hand-picked members that will provide additional value to the community by publicly sharing their feedback on project candidates prior to the monthly community vote. They will be Genesis Pass holders, so their interests are aligned with the greater community. As voting members, they will have a say in which projects receive funding.

Why is This Good for the Community?

In addition to attracting higher quality projects and sharing their expert insights with the community, we believe that seeding the Cap3 community with thought leaders will add credibility to what we’re building, which in turn will attract the right kind of individuals to become Cap3 community members.
